Many fans are split over the continued emphasis on the mythology in Assassin’s Creed games and less on the history, as the gameplay has become more generically open world and less stealth-based. Thus, it’ll be interesting to see how this DLC is received by Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s fans when it releases and how the marketing material is treated later on this month. However, a new leak has given fans a look at the core achievements, so as they are listed below, please keep in mind that these may contain SPOILERS.

Once they appeared online, the achievement tracking website True Achievements compiled it into its database. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok features a total of 9 achievements on Xbox platforms, totaling 260 gamer scores.
Three of them are listed as secret on Xbox, while some are pretty obvious non-spoilery ones. The secret achievements (and thus those most likely to feature spoilers) are listed last below:
Over The Hills…: Complete all Territories in Svartalfheim Ashes of Svartalfheim: Complete the Campaign It’s All in the Wrist: Kill 30 enemies with an Atgeir Aesir Spelunker – Discover All Shelters See No Evil – Teleport-Assassinate two enemies without being detected Flying Fortress – Reach a Muspelheim Monolith Motsognir’s Blessing (Secret) – Purify Hreidmar’s Cursed Armor Hugr Incarnate (Secret) – Fully Upgrade the Hugr-Rip Expert Storyteller (Secret) – Tell Kara a tale with at least four Boasts
For the most part, these achievements seem pretty straightforward and will mostly require fans to invest time and focus on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok’s gameplay. Completing all territories, completing the campaign, discovering the shelters, and finding a Muspelheim Monolith all sound like things that’ll occur naturally—if players go through the whole thing, of course. See No Evil and It’s All in the Wrist focus on combat, with an Atgeir being a type of polearm that Havi will have access to.
Regarding the secret, potentially SPOILER-y achievements, it’ll be interesting to see how they come into play. In Norse Mythology, Hreidmar tells a story of cursed ring and not a suit of armor. Hugr-Rp is not immediately clear, but Kara is a Valkyrie in Norse Mythology. So, it’ll be interesting to see how she, all of this, and more tie into the upcoming release of Dawn of Ragnarok.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
