Small Shuttle

This is the first shuttle that is crafted by players using a Large Printer with two Aluminum, which means it is the lowest tier. While it is a lower tier, it is needed in order to progress and gain resources to craft the larger shuttles. There are two Tier-2 slots on this vehicle, and one slot is needed for either a Solid-Fuel Thruster or a Hydrazine Thruster (which are used to get off the planet). The other slot is intended for an Oxygenator (allows players to travel around the planet with oxygen), however, it is not needed.

Instead of bringing the Oxygenator, players use that space to put in a medium storage which will give astroneers eight slots for resources. Breaking down all small or medium items, along with the Oxygenator, into crate form where it can be stored into the shuttle and backpack.

Medium Shuttle

The next level of shuttle is the Medium Shuttle, which can be crafted on a Large Printer using two Ceramic and Aluminum Alloy. The shuttle holds four Tier-2 attachment slots, double the space of the first shuttle. Similar to the last, one slot is needed for either the Solid-Fuel Thruster or a Hydrazine Thruster, while the another slot is intended, not required, for the Oxygenator. The other two slots are for storage.

Large Shuttle

This shuttle will provide ample storage for all astroneers. There are two Tier-3 slots and two Tier-2 slots, and similar to the previous shuttles, one of the Tier-2 slots is used for a Thruster.

Place two Large Storage Silo B’s on the two Tier-3 slots, then 12 Medium Storage Silos into each of the large silos. After this, place a Medium Storage Silo in the side slot where the Oxygenator is intended for a total of 25 Medium Storage Silos, providing characters with 600 Tier-1 storage slots.

Astroneer is available on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
