To go with these items, Asus also unveiled the Aim Lab editions of the ROG Harpe Ace gaming mouse and ROG Hone Ace mouse pad. The ambidextrous mouse weighs only 54 grams and features a nylon shell and 36,000-dpi optical sensor. The five-button mouse also comes with Rog Micro Switches, which are rated for 70 million clicks, Bluetooth and 2.4GHz RF wireless modes, and dongle storage. The Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition gaming mouse releases in January 2023 and will retail for $149.99.
The Hone Ace mouse pad has a 508 x 420 mm surface that is water, oil, and dust repellent. It’s been designed to provide an optimal amount of friction for precise controls and also features a rubber base for minimal slippage. The mouse pad has ruler markings that may prove useful for gamers using Aim Lab’s software for accuracy training. It will be available in January for $29.99.
For those who like themed gaming setups, Asus will also be releasing the $250.00 ROG Azoth customizable gaming keyboard in January, as well as the ROG Destrier Ergo gaming chair sometime in the first quarter of 2023. Though not created in collab with Aim Lab, the additional peripherals will somewhat match the color scheme, though the Destrier Ergo chair has the red ROG logo on the headrest.
Aim Lab was developed by Statespace and released in 2018. The base software is available for free from Steam or the official website, and a reported 20 million players have now used it to tweak their skills in first and third-person shooters. It not only analyzes performance to help gamers improve their aim, but also zeroes in on weak points and preferences, and there are profiles available for training in different games like Valorant and Roblox. The software has been so well received that Fall Guys released a special Aim Lab skin a couple years back to go with the plethora of themed costumes in the colorful battle royale.
