The franchise, as a whole, seems to be moving in a ton of different directions, all reflecting a more modern take on the franchise. Instead of shoehorning fans into one distinctive style of game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a classic action-adventure game, Assassin’s Creed Red is an open-world RPG, and Assassin’s Creed Hexe is billed as something different altogether. Hopefully, Ubisoft keeps this up because exploring every possible aspect and approach for the franchise is worthwhile, including even taking a few notes from Rockstar’s wild west title (which may or may not be what happened)....
