The National Coalition Against Censorship and ten other groups including the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, which provides legal aid for cartoonists and publishers, signed a letter in defense of the cartoon on Wednesday, after the Wylie Independent School District removed the controversial cartoon from an eighth grade classroom assignment. Raymond made the announcement yesterday on Twitter, but stopped short of providing more details about what this means for her or Google. It seems likely that Raymond will be involved with Google’s rumored video game console, which many expect to be revealed at the 2019 Game Developer’s Conference on March 18. Since Raymond’s career has revolved around game production, perhaps she will be heading game development at Google. If Google is working on a game console, then it seems likely that the company would want to produce exclusive titles for that console, otherwise it’s unclear why anyone would choose to buy it over an existing console or a gaming PC....
